NKUK provided the Environmental Safeguards Specialist on a project team conducting a Project Preparatory Technical Assistance (PPTA) for the Bhutan Power Development Project.
The environmental study assessed the environmental impacts of each element, through reviews of EIA reports prepared by the Implementing Agencies for the transmission line and hydropower components, and conducting new Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) studies for the rural electrification component.
