NKUK provided the Environmental Specialist on a Nippon Koei team to undertake a number of tasks associated with the design, construction and operation of a new international passenger terminal at Ho Chi Minh City's Tan Son Nhat Airport. These environmental tasks were as follows:
- Preparation of a comprehensive Environmental Monitoring and Management programme;
- Conduct of initial noise monitoring;
- Examination of noise impact mitigation measures;
- Support for establishment of a noise monitoring system;
Environmental monitoring and management during the construction stage.
