This project aimed at assisting the World Bank with the development and operation of a new biodiversity informatics network. The network is primarily for the use of South and Central American and Caribbean Countries to raise awareness of biodiversity, and to make biodiversity informatics accessible for use in policy and decision-making.
The UNEP World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP –WCMC) in Cambridge, UK, acted as sub-consultants to NKUK.
