NKUK was appointed to undertake a number of environmental tasks associated with the development of a new international passenger terminal at Boryspil Airport. These were:
- Preparation of Construction Contract Clauses relating to the Contractor's environmental performance.
- Support to the detailed design engineering team relating to environmental issues.
- Preparation of an Environmental Management Plan for the construction of the new passenger terminal.
- Preparation of a detailed Environmental Monitoring Programme for the construction of the new passenger terminal.
- Technical Support to the Environmental Impact Assessment programme in the form of preparation of Terms of Reference, assembly of basic data and modelling of noise and air quality of the expanded airport operation.
