Nippon Koei was responsible for the detailed design and tender documentation for the complete PCCP Conveyance Pipeline between Kufra Lift Pump Station and Sarir, and for undertaking all topographic survey and extensive geotechnical and geophysical investigations. The 380km long diameter pipeline is 4.0 m and 3.6 m diameter and the design includes 2. no. 140,000 cu.m. regulating reservoirs, 2 no. flow control stations, a pressure relief station, haul road and various appurtenant works.
