This project aimed to improve the living standard in Machakos, Kitui, Makueni and Mwingi. In order to eradicate poverty in the project area, it was targeted to increase coverage of the water supply system, improve accessibility to water points, and help women and children who were overloaded with work by contributing to reducing their burden.
