Statoil required a Conceptual Transport Study to be completed for Statoil's proposed exploration drilling in Kufra, Libya.
The project involved completing a reconnaissance survey in order to identify potential routes through the desert for a new asphalt road to exploration drilling sites. Advice was given to the company on road construction techniques and provision of environment guidance for the contractors.
