Western Kazakhstan Road Network Rehabilitation Project

The project involved detailed design, preparation of bidding documents, procurement assistance and construction supervision for the rehabilitation of approximately 1,000 km of primary roads in Western Kazakhstan.
The project also included the provision of technical assistance to improve road maintenance capability at the local level.
The road rehabilitation works were located in the following three sections:
Aktobe-Karabutak (213 km), Karabutak-Kustanai Border (231 km), Atyrau-Uralsk (492 km).
