Direct appointment by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to monitor the construction of new terminal buildings, as well as upgrading works for the runways, taxiways, aprons, car parks and access roads at Tbilisi International Airport and Batumi International Airport, Georgia.
Duties included: (i) visiting Georgia to monitor progress, quality and costs of the construction works carried out under a Build – Operate – Transfer contract on behalf of Lenders; (ii) reviewing the procurement and documentation for major sub-contracts; (iii) advising Lenders of critical issues that might jeopardise the project and management of risks related to construction.
