NKUK provided the Transport Specialist / Team Leader for this technical assistance assignment covering the rehabilitation of 236 km of a primary international route in northern Kazakhstan.
Tasks included:
- Review of IDB financed study on behalf of ADB;
- Economic appraisal of project including benefit distribution analysis and quantitative risk analysis;
- Assessment of capacity of line agencies, and identification of proposals for future technical assistance package;
- Review of roads sector performance in Kazakhstan;
- Preparation of document to be submitted to ADB Board to obtain funding approval.
