The project involved the preparation of an initial project appraisal, feasibility study and design - build bidding documents for the rehabilitation of approximately 450 km of the primary road network in the Northern Region of Afghanistan.
Nippon Koei provided on-the-job training to the Ministry of Public Works staff to improve their capacity for project planning and implementation.
