Abu Hamour Southern Outfall Project

This project comprises the detailed design and preparation of tender documents for the Abu Hamour Southern Outfall surface and groundwater drainage scheme in Doha, which serves a catchment area of 120sq.km. The main tunnel outfall is 3.7m internal diameter and about 10km long. The outfall pumping station has a disharge capacity of 16.5m³/s.
The design included hydraulic modelling using InfoWorks, an extensive site investigation sub-contract and a comprehensive EIA.
