The objectives of the assignment are to provide consulting services to carry out the detailed design and construction supervision for the new 61 km long, 4 lane access controlled expressway between Masalli and Astara. This expressway will link with other expressway sections being constructed between Alat and Masalli to give a high speed highway linking Baku to Azerbaijan's southern regions and the international border with Iran.
Consulting services are also being provided to support the AzerRoadService (ARS) and its Project Implementation Unit (PIU) for the procurement of the necessary civil works contractors.
