Client/Finance: The Management and Implementation Authority of the Great Man-made River Project (GMRA)/ Libyan Government
Preliminary design and preparation of bid documents for the following 2 components:
- Conveyance pipelines, wellfield collectors, storage/ regulating reservoirs and associated pumping facilities for the Al Kufra to SSTB system comprising approximately 400km of 4m diameter pipeline to convey an additional 1.68 million m3 water per day to supplement the capacity of Phases 1 & 2.
- Conveyance and distribution pipelines, wellfield collectors, associated pump stations and storage reservoirs for the Al Jaghboub to Tobruk system comprising approximately 700km of pipelines from 600 to 1600 mm diameter to provide a new supply of 137,000 m3/day to Tobruk and coastal towns from El Bomba to Em Saad.
