Against the background of water/sanitation sector reforms in Moldova, and as part of the Rural Water and Sanitation (RWSS) component of the National Water Supply and Sanitation Program (NWSSP), the World Bank commissioned this assignment to assess the institutional capacity of responsible agencies in planning, managing and implementing rural water supply and sanitation services in Moldova, and to provide recommendations for efficient and effective institutional and implementation arrangements.
