Turkmenistan - Afghanistan - Pakistan (TAP) Pipeline Feasibility Study

Client/Finance: Asian Development Bank

NKUK initially provided the environmental and social elements of the feasibility study, which was led by Penspen. NKUK undertook the following tasks:

  1. Environmental and social input to the route selection study
  2. Environmental Impact Assessment of the selected Southern Route.
  3. Social Assessment of the selected route, including issues of land acquisition, compensation and resettlement.

In 2008 NKUK was commissioned by Penspen to carry out a desktop update of the Environmental and Social aspects of the feasibility study.
