Operations Manager
Esam joined NKUK in 2001 and was tasked with developing its business systems which are in use today. Trained as a civil engineer, having worked in the UK water industry before joining, he has also undertaken short-term inputs on projects in the UK office and overseas. Today, in his role as Operations Manager, he is responsible for linking contracts and finances between the overseas projects, NKUK Reading Office and NK Tokyo Office.
Esam is studying part-time for a post-graduate qualification at a top UK Business School. Recent business trips to Tokyo have also inspired him to take up Japanese language classes in his spare time. He keeps his head by following music of all kinds (rarely anything anyone has heard of!), going to watch England play cricket and occasionally getting away to Europe for some skiing.
